Accommodation FAQs

Current Students

Q: Will University-managed accommodation continue to stay open?
A:
University-managed accommodation will remain open. The Accommodation Team will continue to support students who are remaining within University accommodation. The University also have specific advice for students who are staying in halls and need to self-isolate, please see the University support webpage under ‘Accommodation’ for further information.

Q: Will private student accommodation continue to stay open?
A:
If the student is not living within University-managed accommodation and is seeking support with their current accommodation arrangements, you may contact Student Support Services via welfare@le.ac.uk for advice.

Q: Who do I contact with accommodation related questions?
A:
If you have any questions about university accommodation, please email accommodation@leicester.ac.uk.  Alternatively, please email info@leicestergsc.com and we will do our best to support you.

Future Students

Q: Can I still research accommodation options? If so, where can I find this information?
A:
Accommodation applications are open as normal and although Accommodation offers aren’t made until you have been given an unconditional offer for your University course, you can still apply to book your place in halls. For more information on the University’s accommodation guarantee and properties, please visit the student accommodation webpage.

Q: When will I be able to book accommodation for September 2020 start date?
A:
If you have accepted our unconditional offer, you can apply for accommodation when applications open on our online system. We will contact you with details of your accommodation offer.

If you have accepted our conditional offer, you can apply for accommodation when applications open on our online system. Once you get your results and your place becomes unconditional, we will process applications and contact you with the details of your accommodation offer.
