The Global Study Centre provides flexible entry points to a range of University of Leicester undergraduate degree programmes, along with specialised support throughout your study journey. Happiness, safety and success are at the heart of what we offer.
Supporting success
Based in the heart of the city, students of the Global Study Centre are considered a part of the University of Leicester from day one.
The pathway curriculum, developed in line with the University and to strict quality standards, has been designed for international students who fall just below direct entry criteria.
Based within easy walking distance of the University of Leicester campus, the Centre encourages development, nurtures confidence and supports the integration of each student into student life in the UK.

Study options
The Global Study Centre offers three entry points to suit students of different levels and to help them succeed on their journey to the University of Leicester:
- Foundation
- International Year One
- Pre-sessional English
All our programmes develop your language skills and academic knowledge, as well as building your confidence and encouraging you to integrate into university life in Leicester.
You will receive a packaged over letter, with Foundation or International Year One combined with the rest of the degree – one offer letter from entry to graduation.
